Finished Projects!!

We're going to Utah this weekend and will be doing family pictures. I altered some clothes to fit William for it (the onsie was for an 18 mo old...) and decided to try the outfit on him. He was so cute I couldn't help but take some pre-picture pictures... This one was the cutest! :)

And today I finished the Bumbo cover! The brown ribbon on the front is for toys to hook on. (For those of you who don't know the story, I bought a Bumbo on Craig’s-list and in reeked of cigarette smoke... I tried everything to wash it out and, well, it still is there a little.. So I decided to make a cover for it to keep the smell in! It's lined with a shower curtain so it works really well.)

And this is the wrap I made the other day to carry William in around the apt complex etc. (we're assistant managers). It's worked well too! We love it!

Getting into the routine

These last couple of days have been mostly just getting used to being a family of three with all the normal things going on. Adam has worked every day since we got back from Utah and has even picked up more hours with maintenance here at the apts. He also sold some more packs (which we're excited to get rid of more and more!)

And I've been getting used to my new role as stay at home mom--Cleaning, doing baths, taking pictures... etc :)

Ahh, sleep...

Hey, what are you doing?

You're taking pictures of me?

Who me??

I don't know if I like that...

What? A picture again? At this inappropriate time? I better cover myself! Don't want any future girlfriends seeing embarrassing things they shouldn't...

Time to come home!

Mommy and baby

Here we are--Family of three!

William's Birthday!

My labor was 8 hours long before I started pushing. After pushing for just under an hour (with help of a vacuum extractor) William's heart rate dropped dramatically and scared the doctor. So, it was decided that we needed to do an emergency C-section. 20 minutes later... (or so it seemed) William made his entrance into the world!
He was born at 11:20 pm on our doctor's birthday--August 3rd (his due date was the 4th!), and he was 7lbs 3oz and 19in long. Here are the long awaited pictures of the stay at the hospital :)
